Back a year or so, I got to grab coffee with Music and Marching founder Zach Ashcraft. We sat there for hours telling stories and reflecting on our paths in the marching activity. That conversation resulted in an instant bond that has carried us to various partnerships, late night hangouts after expo load-ins, and this profile/story on Music and Marching - The Story of Lot Riot.

“The parking lot is where a lot of us grew up in our skills, and developed into being performers. We’re not talking about the stadium where you’re seeing the finished product, we’re talking about the gritty, dirty, metronome beeping life that is the parking lot.”

The profile features a few photos by Zach of our 2019 booth at WGI Championships in Dayton, Ohio.
